Fermo

Fermo ( in ancient Firmum ) is a town with 37 221 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of the same name, Marche region of Italy.

2004, the Province of Fermo was formed from the northern part of the province of Ascoli Piceno, Fermo with as its capital.

The city has a cathedral is the seat of the Archdiocese of Fermo.

Twinning

There is twinned with the city of Bahía Blanca in Argentina with Ansbach in Bavaria.
