Fernand Cabrol

Fernand Cabrol ( born December 11, 1855 in Marseille, † June 4, 1937 in Farnborough, Hampshire ) was a French Benedictine and pioneer of the liturgical renewal of the 20th century.

Cabrol was 1890-1896 Prior of the Abbey of Saint- Pierre in Solesmes and since 1903 the Abbot of Saint Michael 's Abbey in Farnborough.

Cabrol is known as the founder of the "Dictionnaire d' archéologie chrétienne et de liturgy ", which he published along with Henri Leclercq, and the " Monumenta Ecclesiae liturgica ", 4 vols, Paris 1904-13.
