Fernanda Ribeiro

Fernanda Ribeiro ( born June 23, 1969 in Penafiel ) is a Portuguese long-distance runner and Olympic gold medalist.

At the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 1994 she won the 10,000 - meter race at the World Athletics Championships 1995 in Gothenburg she won the silver medal in the 5000 meters and the gold medal in the 10,000 meters and at the 1997 World Championships in Athens, the bronze medal over 5000 meters and the silver medal in the 10,000 meters.
