Fernando De Napoli began his professional career at Rimini Calcio in Serie C. From there he moved to the U.S. Avellino, after which he continued his career at Napoli. During this time he played together with Diego Maradona and twice won the champion titles and a second place in Serie A. In this time also winning the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana fell. 1989 De Napoli won with Naples and the UEFA Cup.
