The University Fernando Pessoa (Portuguese: Universidade Fernando Pessoa ) - UFP short - is a private university in Porto ( Portugal), founded, progressive 1996.

The University Fernando Pessoa Porto is named after the Portuguese poet and writer Fernando Pessoa and influenced in their doctrine strongly by his life's work. Current President of the University is Prof. Dr. Salvato Trigo.

Faculties

The university is organized into three faculties:

• Faculty of Health Sciences
• Human and Social Sciences
• Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences

The University Fernando Pessoa among other things, runs a close cooperation with the University of Porto.
