Fernando Poe Jr.

Ronald Allen Key Poe, called Fernando Poe Jr. ( born August 20, 1939 in San Carlos City, Pangasinan, † December 14, 2004 in Manila, Philippines ) was a Filipino film star with Catalan and Irish roots and 2004 presidential candidate.

Life

Fernando Poe Jr., the second child of same actor Fernando Poe Sr., was an actor in more than 170 action movies as well as director or producer in 100 films.

In 2003, the close friend of former President and former actor Joseph Estrada opposition presidential candidate for the 2004 election to the Philippinen.Die subsequent presidential elections were marred by violence.
