Fernando Previtali

Fernando Previtali ( born February 16, 1907 in Adriatic Sea; † August 1, 1985 in Rome ) was an Italian conductor, composer and writer on music.

Previtali studied music in Turin. From 1936 he worked as chief conductor of the Symphony Orchestra of the RAI in Rome. From 1953 to 1973 he was conductor of the concerts of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, where he also taught conducting.

Fernando Previtali also worked as a composer and writer on music.
