The Ferrari F10 is a Formula 1 race car and the patrol car of the Scuderia Ferrari in the Formula 1 2010 season.

Presentation

The Ferrari F10 was introduced to the public on 28 January 2010 and on the same day drove Ferrari factory driver Felipe Massa with the cars for the first miles on the private track in Fiorano. Due to bad weather the first tests had to be postponed to the next day, where again Massa was driving.

Development and Technology

Was constructed of F10 by Nikolas Tombazis, who's had the car under the technical direction of Aldo Costa and based on the existing since 2009 technical regulations. The most important change to the F60 from the previous year, was the renunciation of the KERS. When engine is again the Ferrari -Type -056 -2 ,4 -liter V8 engine. Course of the season

After extensive testing in February 2010, the new factory driver Fernando Alonso won the F10 at the first World Cup race of the season in Bahrain. Felipe Massa made ​​with the second rank for a double victory for the Scuderia. In Australia, Alonso was involved in a collision at the start of and behind team-mate Massa fourth. In Malaysia, Alonso retired with engine trouble and Massa was seventh. After the sixth race of the season, the Monaco Grand Prix, Alonso placed at the third position of the championship standings, three points behind leader Mark Webber. Felipe Massa was with a gap of 17 points in fifth place. After the ninth round of the season, the European Grand Prix, Scuderia was with the F10 in the constructors' championship in third place overall.

The second win of the season with the Scuderia F10 celebrated the Grand Prix of Germany at the Hockenheimring, where Fernando Alonso won ahead of Felipe Massa. Alonso celebrated three more victories in the Drivers' World Championship. He won the Ferrari 's home Grand Prix in Italy, the Grand Prix of Singapore and the inaugural Grand Prix of Korea. At the end of the season, the Spaniard was with the F10 second in the drivers' world championship. Felipe Massa was sixth overall and the Scuderia took third place overall in the Constructors' title.
