Ferrari Monza

The Ferrari 500TR was a racing sports car of 1956.

After losing to Mercedes -Benz in the World Sportscar Championship in 1955 the leaders was clear that there was a need for action in the Scuderia Ferrari. The construction of the 500TR is the weak point of the Ferrari 500 Mondial should be eradicated - the engine. The 500TR Testarossa was the first in a long series of Ferrari sports car with this designation. The engine now made ​​180 hp and had two camshafts and two distributor.
