Ferruccio Amendola

Ferruccio Amendola ( born July 22, 1930 in Turin; † 3 September 2001 in Rome ) was an Italian actor and voice actor.

Life

Amendola comes from a family of actors and is the nephew of screenwriter and director Mario Amendola. As a child, he was seen in Gian Burrasca; he played a student for Sergio Tofano. In the 1950s he worked in theaters Revue, from 1954, he was with a certain regularity also active for the cinema, mostly in comic roles. Also on display was Amendola in television series such as Il gallo canta a mezzanotte and L'ultima faccia di Medusa (both in 1958 originated ) or Il Provino (1964). From 1968 Amendola devoted himself almost exclusively to the synchronization, for which he had become interested early on; he lent his distinctive voice on a regular basis, inter alia, Dustin Hoffman, Al Pacino, Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro. From 1982 on, he was again involved in some great popular successes of television as an actor.

Amendola was married to his colleague Rita Savagnone; Claudio Amendola is her son.
