Ferwerderadiel

Ferwerderadiel (Dutch: Ferwerderadeel ) ( listen / i?) Is a municipality in the Dutch province of Friesland with 8852 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013).

The community used since 1999 Frisian name, the Dutch names are not official. Ferwerderadiel is located on the Wadden Sea and has approximately 10.1 kilometers of coastline. The administrative center of the municipality is Ferwert ( nl.: Ferwerd ).

The remaining places in the municipality are: Burdaard ( Birdaard ) Blije ( Blija ) Ginnum ( Genum ) Hallum, Hegebeintum ( Hogebeintum ) Jannum ( Janum ) Jislum, Lichtaard, Marrum, Reitsum and Wânswert ( Wanswerd ).
