Festival de Radio France et Montpellier

The Montpellier Festival, Festival de Radio France et actually Montpellier Languedoc -Roussillon is a large music festival in the south of France, Montpellier, which is organized by the regional capital, and Radio France.

History

The festival takes place since 1985. The event was originally conceived as a festival of classical music, but opened up for more music styles such as jazz, electronic music and world music. It is already one with annually about 115 000 visitors to the largest music festivals in Europe.
