Fever Pitch

Fever Pitch is an autobiographical novel by Nick Hornby.

He deals with the life of a football fans and is written in the form of a diary, in which each entry is preceded by a football result. The original edition as well as the German translation appeared in 1992. Hornby's book is a tribute to the Arsenal, a book about growing up, finding yourself, family and friends.

The book has been filmed twice, in 1997 in a football version with Colin Firth (German Title: Fever Pitch) and 2005 Jimmy Fallon and Drew Barrymore as a baseball movie titled A man for one season. As part of the One City. A book. Fever Pitch was distributed free in Vienna in 2007.
