Fibrosarcoma

A fibrosarcoma fibroblastic sarcoma or a malignant tumor in animals and humans that arises from connective tissue and characterized by immature proliferating fibroblasts or anaplastic spindle cells.

Fibrosarcoma is a very rare tumor, occurring in humans in every age group, even innate. Most commonly it occurs in men beyond the fourth decade of life. The treatment consists of a generous surgical removal of the tumor followed by radio - or chemotherapy. The prognosis is usually unfavorable.

Feline fibrosarcoma represents approximately 40 % of all cases the second most common skin cancer in cats dar. Here is suspected that a relationship of tumor formation is with injections.
