Fichtsee

The Fichtsee is a 1.5 hectare of dystrophic bog lake in Sindelbachfilz, a projected nature Moor, in the district Sindelbach, community Sindelsdorf, two kilometers south-east of the center of Sindelsdorf and 3.5 km south of Penzberg. It lies at an altitude of 595 meters. The Loisach flows only 280 yards passing east.

On the image, an open water area of ​​only about one hectare can be made out, the rest is silted or siltation zone.

For the protection of ground-nesting birds is during the period from 20 March to 15 July prohibition to the nature reserve. Outside this period the Sindelsbachfilz may be entered only on the available routes. For Fichtsee performs no such way.
