Field Information Agency; Technical (FIAT)

Field Information Agency, Technical Reports - FIAT FIAT - reports or reviews - was one of the facilities of the Allies, the level of development of German research and development towards the end of the Second World War and afterwards found out and gave several series of publications until 1948.

The particular for Germany edition of the FIAT Review of German Science is known as FIAT reports and appeared under Approval No. 20 of the news controlling the military government as a multi-volume series: natural science and medicine in Germany from 1939 to 1946. Wiesbaden: Dieterich'sche Verlagsbuchhandlung.

For example, appeared in December 1948 Volume 15 electron emission, electron motion and high frequency technology. Part I was published by Georg Goubau and Jonathan Zenneck. The latter continued the publication in 1947 alone after Goubau was requested by the United States as part of Operation Paperclip.
