Field-programmable gate array#Architecture

Configurable Logic Block (CLB ) are in the field of digital technology blocks in a programmable electrical circuit, the internal elements of a lookup table (LUT), the AND -OR arrays and flip-flops are placed as needed during programming to a particular state and then later act accordingly during operation. Furthermore, different types of memory elements such as D flip-flops is within a CLB (DFF ) each of which can store 1 bit. The scope and arrangement of the individual electronic circuit elements ibnnerhalb of CLBs is realized in different ways depending on the component and manufacturer.

CLBs can be found in programmable logic circuits ( PLDs ) and Field Programmable Gate Arrays ( FPGAs).
