FIL European Luge Championships

The list of champions in luge lists all the three first places at the European Championships in luge athletes placed. European Championships in Luge be performed in the single-seater disciplines of men and women and the doubles of men since 1914. Since 1988, in addition there will be a team competition in the European Championships.

Martin Tietze, Paul Aste, Horst Hörnlein, Hans Rinn and Paul Hildgartner are the only luger who were in the singles and the doubles champions. The most successful athlete is until today with seven European championship titles in both disciplines in the German Hans Rinn.
