Filipp Metlyuk

Filipp Jurjewitsch Metljuk (Russian Филипп Юревич Метлюк; born December 13, 1981 in Togliatti, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the Kontinental Hockey League since January 2013.

Career

Filipp Metljuk began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of the HK Lada Togliatti, for the second team, he was active in the third-class Perwaja League from 1998 to 2000. He then spent two years playing for the ZSK WWS Samara Wysschaja League, the second Russian league. From 2002 to 2008 the defender was standing in the Super League for his former club HK Lada Togliatti, with which in 2005 he was runner-up, and Moskovskaya Oblast Chimik on the ice. He then moved to HK Avangard Omsk in the newly formed Continental Hockey League. There he spent one and a half years before he was released to his domestic rivals HK CSKA Moscow in January 2010.

For the season 2010/11 Metljuk was obliged by KHL - Up HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk, before joining in the summer of 2011, along with Denis Tyurin Metallurg Novokuznetsk to. After Novokuznetsk in January 2013 had no chance of reaching the play-offs, Metljuk was delivered to the Metallurg Magnitogorsk.

Internationally

For Russia Metljuk took in 2005 at the Euro Hockey Tour in part, which he won with his team. He came to three international appearances, where he remained and no points awarded two penalty minutes.
