FIM Superstock 1000 Championship

The FIM Superstock 1000 Cup is a racing series for motorcycles, which has been awarded since 2005 by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme ( FIM) and takes place in the framework program of the European events of the Superbike World Championship.

The championship is for young drivers as a springboard in the Supersport and Superbike World Championship. Some Superbike championship teams entertain even own junior teams in the Cup.

History

The precursor of the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup was the Superstock 1000 class of motorcycle Championship, which was held from 1999 to 2004.

In the 2010 season, the Italian Ayrton Badovini made ​​on a BMW S 1000 RR, BMW Motorrad Italia STK Tems of a novelty. Rules

The championship is advertised for Superbikes of the 1000 cc category.
