Fimbria of hippocampus

The fimbria hippocampi, also fimbria fornix, are a thin lamella of white substance, which form the beginning of the fornix at the end of the bar. She lies on the dentate gyrus and serves the choroid plexus of the lateral ventricles as an approach. The fimbria hippocampi are part of the subiculum and thus to the limbic system and consist of bundles of fibers of the alveus.
