Fimpen

Fimpen, the tot is a Swedish children's film from the year 1974.

Action

The small Fimpen is six years old and football enthusiasm. Fimpen is currently enrolled in school, but prefers to play all day on the playground football. There he sees the scorer of the Swedish national football team. He plays with him and is tricked by him. The soccer star falls into a deep depression. Fimpen will then play for the club Hammarby IF and quickly creates a furore in the first Swedish League. Coach Georg Ericson calls him for the crucial qualifying matches for the national team for World Cup 1974. Fimpen is the hero and score the decisive goal. Sweden must now go to the World Cup in Germany. The boy's fame, however, ensures that Fimpen in school is unfocused and also sees absolutely no more sense in his school.
