Financial District (Boston)

The Financial District is a neighborhood ( Neighborhood) Boston, Massachusetts in the United States. It is located in the city center near the neighborhoods Government Center and Chinatown.
Like many areas in Boston and the Financial District was never officially defined in its expansion. Is generally accepted that it is bounded by Atlantic Avenue, State Street, and Devonshire Street. Near the Boston South Station are the Dewey Square, One Financial Center, and the building of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. As part of the Financial District are beyond the building 33 Arch Street, One Federal Street, the First National Bank Building and the skyscraper 101 Federal Street. In the neighborhood are the most skyscrapers of the city and are built very close together. With the Prudential Center and the John Hancock Tower, however, are the largest skyscraper in Boston 's Back Bay.
