Financial Mail

The Financial Mail is a weekly newspaper in South Africa, one of the leading English-language financial and business magazines in the country. She is nationally published in an edition of 30,000 copies and has around 215,000 readers ( Data for 2008). The editorial office is located in Johannesburg.

The main target group are so-called decision makers in the private sector and the public administration. The first edition appeared on 6 March 1959 in the creation of the Financial Times, published in the UK to 50 percent and SA Associated Newspapers ( SAAN ) were involved in 40 percent. Mid-1970s, took over the SAAN also the proportions of the Financial Times. Current Publishing Ltd. is since 1997 the company BDFM Publishers ( Pty).
