Fingathing
Fingathing is a Nu Jazz / Hip- hop band from Manchester, England, and consists of the classically trained bassist Sneaky and DJ / turntablist Peter Parker.
Career
Parker was a finalist at the U.S. DMC World DJ Championships, where a certain Mark Rae sat on the jury. Parker met Rae later in a record shop in Manchester and became the Anhörprobe invited to its live band Rae & Christian.
Parker played with Sneaky for a while at Rae & Christian, before the two decided to continue as a duo. They signed with Rae's record label Grand Central Records in the UK (or at Ninja Tune in the U.S.) and published so far released three studio albums and a best-of album. The album and single cover of the band always contain the characteristic Cartoons of the artist Chris Drury.
