Finland national basketball team
The Finnish national basketball team represents Finland in international basketball games of Lords. Their most successful period they had during the 1960s, as they so far only time to sporty to qualify for the Olympic Games and with the 6th place achieved their best result at the European Championship staged in Helsinki European Championship 1967. Among the most significant players at this time included Martti Liimo and Jorma Pilkevaara. For a world championship they previously could not qualify.
