Finos Film

Finos film (Greek Φίνος Φιλμ ) is a film company, which until 1977 dominated the film production in Greece by 1943.

The company was founded in 1942 by Filopimin Finos who ran it until his death in 1977. The studios were located first in Athens and later in Spata, east of Athens. Since the late 1970s, the Greek film production grew in favor of imported foreign films decreases continuously, in addition led the television to a cinema dying. After 1977, the company is therefore focused on the film distribution and post production and produced until 2006 no more film. 2006 Finos movie again entered the film production with the Greek- Italian co-production " Uranya ".
