Fire photography

Use of photography is the act of taking photographs of firefighting operations. Persons engaged in this type of photography, photographers use are called.

Since use of photography also means to be close to potential dangerous situations, use photographers must have special knowledge and skills related to emergency and deployment scenarios, health and safety measures. Use photographers usually have to wear the same protective clothing as the firefighters.

The International Organization of Fire Photography coordinated and certified thousands of worldwide use of photographers. The content of this certification confirms the scope of the training, to act of skills and knowledge in the areas of health, safety, fire-fighting operations, etc. at the site in a reasonable safe distance.
