Firehiwot Dado

Firehiwot Dado (born 9 January 1984) is an Ethiopian marathon runner.

In 2008, she won in the Course Féminine de Casablanca and was second in the Kosice Marathon. The following year, she won the Rome Marathon in 2:27:08 h, was fourth at the Frankfurt Marathon in 2:29:20 and won the Boulogne- Billancourt Half Marathon.

In 2010 she finished fifth at the Mumbai Marathon, defended her title in Rome and won the River Bank Run over 25 miles and the Florence Marathon.

In 2011 she triumphed after another win in Rome at the New York City Marathon.

In 2012 she presented at the New York City Half-Marathon a course record.
