First Aid Convention Europe

The First Aid Convention in Europe (FACE ) is an annual European competition taking place for first aid of the Red Cross.

Participating teams from the Red Cross societies ( which have emerged in their country as the winner ) enter into a competition against each other and determine the " European champions in first - aid." The common comparison promotes the standardization of first aid guidelines in Europe and the cooperation of Red Cross Societies.

The German Red Cross (DRK ) was 1987, 1990 and most recently in 2009 ( from 2 to 5 July in the Lower Saxon city of Oldenburg) host the FACE. In the center of Oldenburg, the 26 participating teams in the competition Saturday had to go through several stations, in addition to pure first-aid stations and a " fun obstacle course ." The winner was the six -member team from Serbia before the teams from Ireland and Italy.
