The sci-fi series First Wave is about the people Cade Foster, who tries to stop an alien invasion of Earth. The story is based on a story by Chris Brancato. Together with Francis Ford Coppola and Larry Sugar, they produced the series.
Action
Cade Foster (played by Sebastian Spence ) is actually just a normal man, he has a wife and a job as a security expert. But one day, his life begins to change. In his house is broken into and nothing is stolen, it will be dismissed as his boss learns of his criminal past and he still applies to people who warned him of an alien experiment. Cade comes into possession of an ancient book, which is said to have been written by Nostradamus. In this book, Nostradamus has predicted the destruction of the earth in three waves. After Cade and his wife have discovered in their house listening devices, the two spend the night in a motel. That night, Cade finds that the woman who he believes to be his wife, but in truth is an alien. His real wife was killed by the aliens and these have left enough evidence pointing to Cade as perpetrators.
Cade finds out that he is one of 117 subjects of the aliens in order to test the will of the people. He is also the only one who has survived this experiment.
He finds an ally in the fight against the invasion: Crazy Eddie. This published on his website, the Paranoid Times, Foster's experiences and insights.
In the last episode of the second season take two a television station to tell the truth to the world. To prevent the attempts of aliens this fail, but Foster is shot before he can tell the truth to the world.
The third season was until today never translated into German and has been run only in America. In this history is brought to an end. One learns that Eddie is not Cade, but killed a double. Furthermore, two new characters appear. Jordan Radcliff, leader of the Raven Nation, which present with Cade against the Gua, and Mabus. Mabus is the leader of Gua and insists soon with the third wave to begin. Overall, the season 3 presents a very bleak. These now also builds each episode on each other and also have usually still an open end.
