FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 1966
The 19th Alpine Ski World was held from 5 to 14 August 1966 in Portillo in Chile instead. She was so far the only Ski World Cup in the southern hemisphere.

The first place was originally awarded to Erika Schinegger (AUT ), only later turned out at a chromosome test that Schinegger is intersexual. He had not taken this world title. The French Marielle Goitschel got her gold medal until years later.
