FISEC

The Food Industry Students European Council ( FISEC ) is an international association of students food-related degree programs in European universities.

Objectives of the Association are, inter alia, the contact between students to encourage food-related programs and universities as well as companies in the food industry. These objectives are pursued inter alia by the annual General Assembly Events and Food Convention. These events serve to deepen the international contact between students and knowledge of the food-related industry in the host country, including through visits. The General Assembly also organizational needs of an international association is taken into account.

At the local level exist at the individual universities called Local FISEC Committee ( LFCs ) pursuing the objectives of the association at the local level, for instance by creating internship databases or organizing company visits. Currently LFCs exist in Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia, Spain, France, Belgium, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Bulgaria and Bosnia - Herzegovina. In Germany LFCs exist in Berlin and Munich.
