Fishbourne is a village in the English county of West Sussex is located about 3 miles from Chichester.

It has a population of 1737 inhabitants ( 1991 census ), three pubs and a bike shop. The history of the village dates back to Roman times and so you will also find a large Roman villa of Tiberius Claudius King Cogidubnus with famous mosaics, for which a museum has been built.

The church of the village is next to the Roman villa, the historically most interesting monument of the place. It is mentioned in a register from the years 1243/54. The present building probably dates from this time and has additions from the 14th and 17th centuries.
