Fisher FP-202 Koala
The FP -202 Koala is a single-seat ultralight aircraft from the Canadian manufacturer Fisher Flying Products, which is sold only as a kit.
Construction
Since the Koala was designed for DIY, the whole construction is very simple: The FP- 202 is a strutted high -wing monoplane with spur wheel chassis, which has been completely built in wood. The steerable tail wheel is coupled to the rudder pedals. Due to the low flight speeds ( minimum speed 45 km / h ) is by default omitted brakes. However, the main landing gear can be optionally replaced with a provided with left and right separately usable braking version.
On the wings neither buoyancy aids nor brakes are fitted, the angle of repose is thus mainly regulated during landing by the motor power.
The side windows can be opened and locked during flight on the wings.
