Fislis

Fislis is a commune with 426 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Haut-Rhin in the Alsace region. It belongs to the district Altkirch, for Canton Ferrette and is a member of the Association of Municipalities Alsatian Jura.

Geography

The municipality is located on the upper Fislis Ill at about 385 meters above sea level, 20 kilometers southeast of Altkirch and 20 kilometers southwest of Basel.

Neighboring communities of Fislis are Muespach in the north, Muespach -le-Haut in the northeast, Linsdorf in the east, Oltingue in the south, the west and Bouxwiller Werentzhouse in the northwest.
