FK Inter Bratislava
The FK Inter Bratislava is or was a Slovak football club from the capital Bratislava.
History
In 1940, a sports club was founded in the refinery Apollo, a football section was only five years later. In 1948, the club was renamed Apollo Sokol, 1952 in DSO Iskra Slovnaft. Ten years later, changed the entire first team of CH Bratislava to Slovnaft, which was renamed in 1966 in TJ Internacionál Bratislava.
Inter played except for the seasons 1972/73 and 1986/87 always in the first Czechoslovak league. The club won the 1984, 1988 and 1990 the Slovak Cup. In the victorious squad Czechoslovak national also played a player of Inter, Ladislav Jurkemik during the European Championship 1976 in Yugoslavia.
In the Slovak League Inter played a long time with the front. Particularly successful was the time around the turn of the millennium: in the years 2000 and 2001, Inter won both the championship and the cup. However, it went downhill quickly for the crew, in the 2006/07 season, the club finally got out of the Corgoň league in the second Slovak Game class.
Inter should ascend into the Corgoň league in season 2009/10; the A- team, however, was dissolved on 18 June 2009 and merged with the club FK Senica from the same city, who is also the legal successor. However, the junior teams continue to exist and are owned by a community of citizens, a former fan club Inter Bratislava. End of April 2010, a new A- team was founded by citizens of this community, but first play in the lowest fifth league and could not play in the former home of Pasienky. In May 2011, Inter went into the 4th league.
