FK Jelgava

The FK Jelgava is a Latvian football club from the city of Jelgava.

History

The club was formed in 2004 through the merger of two predecessor clubs RAF Jelgava and FK Jelgava Viola.

After the re-emergence in 2009 in the Virsliga the team was in season 2009/10 Latvian Cup winner. The final against FK Jurmala was won 6-5 on penalties.
