FK Radnički 1923

The Radnički 1923 ( full official name in Serbian: Фудбалски клуб Рaднички 1923 Fudbalski klub Radnički 1923), usually known as Radnički Kragujevac, is a Serbian football club from Kragujevac, the fourth largest city in the country, and plays in the Super League, the top division in Serbian football.

History

The club was founded in 1923 under the name Mladi Radnik. The first club president was Aleksandar Ratković. His first Match of Mladic Radnik at SK Triglav and lost 2-0. In the first home game Mladic played Radnik against SK Radnički from Belgrade on 16 August 1925. Radnički The SK won 5-0. A week later, on August 23, 1925, Mladic Radnik won his first match against Radnički Niš 7-1. 1929 changed its name to Mladic Radnik KFK Radnički.

In 1969, Radnički on in the first League of Yugoslavia after it had beaten in play-offs Sutjeska and Crvenka. On September 7, 1969 Radnički celebrated a great victory 4-1 against Partizan Belgrade in the JNA Stadium. On September 15, 1969 Radnički reached a 4-4 draw with the Brazilian club Santos. The scorers for Santos were Edu with 3 and Pelé with 1 hit, while scored for Radnički Nikolić, Paunovic and Paunovski by 2 goals. Radnički ended his first season in League 1 as 15 and had an average attendances of 10,850 per game, the second highest in the league.

2010 changed the FK Šumadija Radnički 1923 its name to FK Radnički 1923.
