Flag of Kuwait

The flag of Kuwait was officially adopted on 7 September 1961, the first time on November 24 officially set.

Structure and meaning

After the independence of Kuwait in 1961, the Pan-Arab colors were chosen for the national flag. In order for the State of Kuwait documented his solidarity with the Arab bloc countries. The arrangement of stripes with trapezoidal borrowed from the flag of the Iraqi kingdom. The colors in the case of Kuwait the following meaning:
