Flag of the Canary Islands
The Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands presents itself since 1982 with its own official flag they the Basic Law 10/1982 of 10 August 1982 which deals with the status of autonomy of the Canary Islands, owes.
The sixth article of this declaration the following decrees:
" The flag of the Canary Islands consists of three equally wide vertical stripes, the colors, starting from the left, are: white, blue and yellow. "
On 2 December 2005 (BOC ) No 237 following colors defined by the Boletín Oficial de Canarias:
- The blue ( azul ): Pantone 3005 (RGB 7,104,169 )
- The yellow ( amarillo ): Pantone 7406 (RGB 255.204.0 )
Also located in the center of the flag, the official coat of arms of the Canary Islands, which defines the sixth article thus:
" The Canaries have their own coat of arms, whose description is as follows: on a blue background are seven islands of silver arranged; two, two, two and centered at the top of the last. In a golden crown is depicted, in turn, under a silver ribbon with the text " Océano " (' Ocean ') is located. Side is flanked by two dark-colored dogs the coat of arms. "
