Flag of the Collectivity of Saint Martin

As a French overseas territory, the official flag of Saint Martins is the flag of France.

Unofficial flag

Since the mid- 1990s is reported by an unofficial flag of Saint- Martins, but their real use is unclear. On a blue background is located above a white triangle, of which opens lower tip in a white stripe. In the center is a red triangle and about half a yellow disc. The speculation about the design will go over a flag, which was to serve the tourist marketing of Saint- Martins, but was not introduced to the presumption that it was simply an invention without a real background. The latter seems to be underpinned by the similarity of design with a martini glass, suggesting a pun on the island name. Meanwhile, the flag appeared again and again but the Internet as a " flag of Saint- Martin's" on, without having been but ever officially confirmed.

Another flag, but which would correspond to the usual situation in French overseas territories, is to represent the coat of arms of Saint- Martin on a white background. Also, this flag has been officially adopted by any official agency.
