Flammability

Flammability is a measure of how easily a substance ignites at natural temperatures. This is part of the fire behavior of the substance.

An example of such measurement is the position of the flash point. The flammability is not paired one on one with the combustibility, combustible materials can be quite difficult to ignite.

Building materials are classified depending on their fire behavior in different categories of building materials.
