Flammé (vexillology)

As Flamed flag a flag is called, in the center of which is usually a blazon is, radiation from which the flames ( wavy rays) in the main colors of the coat of arms outwards.

Use

Flamed flags were used in Switzerland, there really is no differing from the coat of arms flag exists and so the coat of arms are used as banners, unlike most other countries. There were often noble Coat of Arms and with decorative, label holders and motto in use. Flamed flags came out of use and are now rarely used.
