Flashdance (Soundtrack)
Flashdance is the soundtrack album to the film of the same in 1983, worldwide, the album sold more than 20 million copies and was awarded at the 1984 Grammy Awards nomination in the category Album of the Year (Album Of The Year ).
Only the songs Flashdance ... What a Feeling and Maniac were released from the album, which each reached # 1 in the United States. To the song Romeo by Donna Summer, a promotional video was made, which aired on MTV. However, the song was not released as a single.
In the United States made it the album to the top of the album charts, where it replaced Michael Jackson's album Thriller from and was it also in turn replaced.
