Flavio Cipolla
Flavio Cipolla ( born October 20, 1983 in Rome ) is an Italian tennis player.

Career
Cipolla is a professional tennis player since 2003. His first individual title he won in 2006 at the Challenger tournament in Turin, when he defeated Marcel Granollers. The first triumph in double could Cipolla, 2005 in Mantova, enter on the side of his compatriot Alessandro Motti. Among other things, he played in a double success with Simon Stadler ( victory in Saransk 2005) and Tomas Behrend ( victory in Barcelona 2006). 2007 Cipolla played for the first time a Grand Slam tournament. After he failed at the Australian Open in qualifying, he defeated in qualifying for the French Open 2007 Davide Sanguinetti, Marcel Granollers and Benjamin Balleret. In the first round of the tournament, he defeated Teimuraz Gabashvili, who had to give up during the game. 2008 Cipolla managed to qualify for the U.S. Open in New York City. In the first round he defeated January Hernych in five sets ( 6:7, 6:4, 2:6, 7:6, 7:6 ) in a four-hour match. At the 2009 Australian Open Cipolla defeated Dmitry Tursunov in the first round in four sets, but retired in the second round against Tommy Haas in three sets of.
