Flax und Krümel

Flax and crumbs is a puppet television series for children, written by Heinz Fülfe, who also spoke the doll character " Tintin " and his wife Inge castle, which was broadcast between January 23 1955 and 1970, in the East German television. She was the first series in the German television, which was designed exclusively for children.

Heinz and Inge Burg Fülfe played, saying the two figures, which were represented by puppets. The puppets, designed by the Dresden painter and puppet designer Inge Thiess - Boettner, originally came from the collection of the Dresden Dolls player Hans -Joachim Hellwig and should be the title characters for theater production of Hansel and Gretel. This piece, however, came for political reasons is not reached, so Fülfe took over the dolls, and (with own modifications ) made ​​to Flax and crumbs.
