Flemming Hansen (politician)

Flemming Hansen ( born August 9, 1939 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish politician of the Conservative People's Party.

Life

Hansen was from 1984 to 2007 Member of the Danish Parliament. He was from 2001 to 2005 Transport Minister in the Cabinet of Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Secretary of Energy from 2005 in addition. In a cabinet reshuffle, he joined in 2007 for reasons of age. Successor as Minister of Transport was Carina Christensen.
