Flexor pollicis brevis muscle
The flexor pollicis brevis (Latin for " short Daumenbeuger " ) is one of the muscles of the thenar eminence. It is inserted at the base of the proximal ( proximal ) phalanx ( phalanx ) of the thumb. In domestic animals this muscle is not present.
Function
The flexor pollicis brevis flexes the thumb.
