Flip jump

The flip is a jump in figure skating.

Implementation

The slider moves by backtracking on the left inner edge. He bends the left knee very strong and leads the right arm and right leg backwards. The rotor typed - as with toe loop - with the wave of the right skate on the ice. Then he stretches his legs, giving him the momentum to the air. To this end, he screwed the upper body in the direction of rotation and closes the arms in front of the torso. The Flip is very similar to Lutz. The difference is that the flip of the inboard edge, the Lutz will come off of the outboard edge.

History

At the World Figure Skating Championships 2010 in Turin later Japanese Daisuke Takahashi winner tried the first man in a competition a quadruple flip, which, however, was devalued due to incomplete fourth rotation on a triple flip.
